Aroha Kai Café is a family-owned café located in Whangarei, the northernmost city in New Zealand & the capital of Northland Region.
Northland is famous for its warm weather, inviting white sand beaches, camping, surfing and other outdoor adventures.
The name for this dreamy cafe was taken from “Aroha” which means love and “Kai” which means food in Māori.
The cafe location has a spectacular view of the water and the native bushes around Whangarei Harbour.
Aroha Kai Café is owned by the Martin family and has been operating since 2017.
They specialise in selling organic food using fresh, high quality, local ingredients.
The family is passionate about the environment and has been using sustainable business practices and biodegradable packaging.
The café opening hours is from Tuesday – Sunday from 7am to 3pm.
